About Jacob
Jacob has served as Pastor at New Hope Baptist Church in Sparkman, AR since August of 2016. Prior to New Hope, he served as pastor at First Southern Baptist Church in Bearden, AR and Smead Community Baptist Church in Sparkman, AR. Jacob has also served as a youth pastor and a small group administrator within the local church. He has had the privilege of proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ at revivals, DNow Conferences, church camps and BCM events along with preaching an evangelistic crusade overseas. He founded and was the CEO of Never Thirst, a 501©3 faith-based non-profit organization that provided bottled water to areas hit by natural disasters, from 2011-2016.
Jacob’s passion is to see people come to know Jesus Christ as Savior along with helping them to find and live out the purpose for which God created them. He believes this is done by developing a personal and intimate relationship with Christ! His mission in life can be summed up by three things: Loving God, Loving People, and Serving Both!
He is married to the love of his life and best friend, Holly. Jacob is also the dad to three great kids: Peyton, Caitlyn and Megan. He is originally from North Little Rock, AR. They now resided in South Arkansas.
Jacob has an Associate of Arts in Business Management from ASU-Beebe and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology/Ministry and Leadership from Hillsdale Free Will Baptist Bible College.

Lord Bless you Bro. Jacob and your Church family praying blessings upon each of you as I had Bro. David Ring at our Men Boys Event Iron Sharpens Iron on the Saturday of Fathers Day and he preach our Fathers Day service as well. We were so Blessed to have him, Each of will be so Blessed by hearing what God has truly done in his life through his years of life,etc . I saw him in Trenton Fla at my home Church around 1984 I was 20 then, now I am 54 living in Live Oak Fla, and I am over our Men’s Ministry at Live Oak Church Of God, as I was looking at Bro. David’s schedule I pray that many will come to your service even trouble youth . I had our Florida Sheriff Younth Ranch Boys there it truly touched them young boys for sure. Be sure to get his life story book I just got through reading it, please tell him We said hello .. Bro. Johnnie thank you for your prayers! I apologize for just now replying to your message. I was spending time with my family on vacation in Florida last week.
